It’s known that Debian, the stable release will only ship stable releases of packages, but Its not there yet, not even in the testing release!
Is there an official responsible for packaging ITK binaries and development libraries or anyone can do it?
@gerddie and @SteveRobbins help provide the Debian community with ITK packages, and they may know the status.
Compiling the source code is straightforward but you can’t remove the old libraries with ease for compiled ones, working with packaged libraries is better. For me, I’m not that knowledgeable about packaging, I hope that experienced people will provide for us the new stable release soon.
