I faced an issue while setting up the Local Server in ITK-SNAP 4.4. When I clicked “Setup Python Packages”, the installation failed with an “Access denied” error related to files inside the auto-created dls_venv directory. No matter how many times I retried, the setup couldn’t proceed because of this permission error.
I was able to resolve it only after uninstalling and reinstalling ITK-SNAP, after which the Python package setup ran successfully. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I’m curious about what might cause the access problem and if there’s a recommended workaround besides reinstalling.
