What does turning BUILD_DOCUMENTATION=ON actually do? I was expecting a build of the software guide or files in the /usr/share directory, but this is not produced.
Can anyone explain what the output from this flag is?
It builds the Doxygen documentation.
Also, note that that variable has been renamed to ITK_BUILD_DOCUMENTATION as per this commit in ITK v5.1rc01 to avoid conflicts with other libraries.
If you want to build the ITK Software Guide PDF file, you will need to clone and build the ITKSoftwareGuide repository.
