# Transferring points to an image

It seems like there are more registration methods for images rather than points. How do I take a PointType and assign it to an image? Are there any examples?

[IterativeClosestPoint3](https://github.com/InsightSoftwareConsortium/ITK/blob/master/Examples/RegistrationITKv4/IterativeClosestPoint3.cxx) and 2 and 1 are examples of points registration. And yes, there are more registration metrics for images than for points.
