# How to save the coordinates of ROI for ITK-SNAP

Hello,

I am using ITK-SNAP for visualization and define the bounding box of the heart region for 3D CT scans. I found that the features in Snake are so cool. ROI can help me do that easily but I can’t save the coordinates of ROI directly. I have to write Position (x,y,z) and Size (x,y,z) manually in an excel file.

Is there any way to save these coordinates as a json file?

I don’t know whether that can be done, but you should ask on [ITK-SNAP mailing list](https://groups.google.com/g/itksnap-users).
