# Gearing up for ITK5

Progress on transition to GitHub can be tracked on the [InsightSoftwareConsortium GitHub Migration KanBan project](https://github.com/orgs/InsightSoftwareConsortium/projects/1).

Note: due to limitations of GitHub, your GitHub user may need to be a member of the `InsightSoftwareConsortium` organization. If your GitHub account is not a member of the organization, and you would like to be, please contact me.

On a high level, we will be transitioning the `ITKSoftwareGuide` and `ITKExamples` repositories first, and after the process and infrastructure is refined, then apply it to `ITK`.  
The timeline is expected to be the next two months.
