# Double brackets \[\[ITK\]\] in the subject of email notifications

Just wondering why the email notifications have changed to have double brackets: `[[ITK]]` instead of just the standard `[ITK]` in their subject.

@phcerdan I have noticed this also.

Maybe this was caused by a recent update?

I changed the `email prefix` from `[ITK]` to `ITK`, which should address the issue.
