# Detailed description of statistics available in SimpleITK LabelShapeStatisticsImageFilter?

Hi everyone,

Is there any place that lists what each of the available stats in LabelShapeStatisticsImageFilter is actually computing? My searching for what “flatness” is has taken me here:

Take a look at the code in [StatisticsLabelMapFilter](https://github.com/InsightSoftwareConsortium/ITK/blob/8fd1fec6b7818f7bae982f51d9bcf12ef7d9fa08/Modules/Filtering/LabelMap/include/itkStatisticsLabelMapFilter.hxx#L281) and [ShapeLabelMapFilter](https://github.com/InsightSoftwareConsortium/ITK/blob/7f5f3360a2b581a88a73a25e8c5a57146a5ec0e9/Modules/Filtering/LabelMap/include/itkShapeLabelMapFilter.hxx#L362).

I agree that the documentation for flatness should be here:

That could be improved.
